Jonathan Blacher, DMD, MSD

Dr. Jonathan Blacher is a Milwaukee native and a graduate of the University of Minnesota. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Science before attending dental school in Arizona at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine. 

After completing his DMD program, Dr. Blacher accepted an Endodontic residency position at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine where he earned his Endodontic Certificate, as well as his Master’s degree in Dental Science. During his advanced specialty training in endodontics, Dr. Blacher conducted research pertaining to clinical experiences of endodontic residents across the US. It became the topic of his thesis which was published in the May 2019 issue of the Journal of Dental Education.

Dr. Blacher is board certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. He specializes in non-surgical root canal procedures as well as various emergency procedures aimed at relieving pain and saving patients’ natural dentition.

Dr. Blacher enjoys spending his free time with his family, playing with his chocolate lab (Olive), working out, golfing and cheering for the Green Bay Packers.

My dentist referred me here for a root canal, and I made my appointment with Dr. Blacher. I had it done a couple of weeks ago, and Y'ALL, I have never been in SO LITTLE pain after a root canal before! It was for a molar, which is already hard to deal with and for me is always difficult to numb. But Dr. Blacher took all the time needed to make sure I had absolutely no feeling, and he was so gentle throughout the entire process. ... Fastest healing ever! This was not my first root canal, and I know it won't be my last, but I will absolutely come back to him. One million stars. I'm referring everyone here.

I anticipated a root canal to be very painful but it was painless, in fact I dozed off a couple times. Dr. B was the best. Don’t want to do it again real soon but if it’s necessary I’ll return to TEC without a doubt.
