Dr. Xu moved to the United States at the age of sixteen to pursue his academic and professional dreams. He graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Southern Nazarene University before going on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the College of Dentistry at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center. He then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at the same institution, where he honed his clinical skills and deepened his knowledge of dentistry. After six years of practicing general dentistry, Dr. Xu decided to pursue his true calling as an endodontist. He went on to complete specialty training for his Certificate of Endodontics and then earned his Master of Science in Endodontics from The School of Dentistry at West Virginia University.
Dr. Xu’s commitment to excellence in patient care is evident in his status as a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, which he earned after completing rigorous examinations. He takes pride in providing his patients with the highest level of care possible and remains dedicated to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in endodontics. Outside of his professional work, Dr. Xu enjoys spending time with his family and exploring his local community.
Dr. Jonathan Blacher is a Milwaukee native and a graduate of the University of Minnesota. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Science before attending dental school in Arizona at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine. During dental school, Dr. Blacher researched mandibular anatomical variations as a potential source for unsuccessful mandibular block anesthesia. Dr. Blacher went on to publish his work in the March 2016 issue of the Journal of Endodontics. His article was a novel approach to digitally evaluating differences in human anatomy among patients.
After completing his DMD program, Dr. Blacher accepted an Endodontic residency position at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine where he earned his Endodontic Certificate, as well as his Master’s degree in Dental Science. During his advanced specialty training in endodontics, Dr. Blacher conducted research pertaining to clinical experiences of endodontic residents across the US. It became the topic of his thesis which was published in the May 2019 issue of the Journal of Dental Education.
Dr. Blacher is board certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. He specializes in non-surgical root canal procedures as well as various emergency procedures aimed at relieving pain and saving patients’ natural dentition.
Dr. Blacher enjoys spending his free time with his family, playing with his chocolate lab (Olive), working out, golfing and cheering for the Green Bay Packers.
Dr. Pei Kang is a board eligible endodontist who has been practicing in the North Texas area for over 18 years. Originally from China, Dr. Kang came to Baylor College of Dentistry in 1998 to pursue a Ph.D. in Oral Biology. She then went on to pursue her specialty training and completed her Certificate in Endodontics at Baylor College of Dentistry (now Texas A&M College of Dentistry) in 2004.
Dr. Kang is a member of the American Association of Endodontics. She has published multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals, received recognition for her research and has given lectures at conferences around the nation. Dr. Kang values patient experience and uses various techniques to ensure the comfort of every patient.
In her spare time, Dr. Kang enjoys reading and studying from Living Stream Ministry, meeting friends at a coffee shop and spending time with her husband Joel, who she met at a “Dress like the 50′s” party, at a church in Carrollton, TX. They love dogs and
have a wonderful canine kid – Happy who is always happy.
Dr. Anjanette Wolfe earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston. She then completed a three-year residency program in Endodontics and received a Certificate in Endodontics and a Master’s of Science Degree from the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston.
Dr. Wolfe has achieved the status of Board Eligible from the American Board of Endodontics. Dr. Wolfe has a special interest in the field of dental trauma, and much of her research, including her Master’s Thesis research project, was related to trauma. Her Master’s Thesis Project was published in the Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology, Oral Radiology Journal, and has many citations.
Dr. Wolfe was in private practice in Connecticut for 16 years, and is delighted to be back in her home state of Texas. She enjoys spending time with her 2 college aged daughters, and other family here in Texas.
Dr. Haggard received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from West Virginia University (WVU) School of Dentistry in 2004. She practiced in general dentistry for 15 years in Western Pennsylvania and Northern West Virginia. She then furthered her specialty training in Endodontics by completing a Master of Science program in Endodontology at the WVU School of Dentistry. In the clinic, she strives to ensure her patients receive the best possible care.
Dr. Haggard and her family moved to the Dallas area in 2018. Outside of Dentistry, she enjoys the great outdoors, spending time with her family, traveling, and exploring different cultures and cuisine. She looks forward to serving you and our local communities.
