Dr. Rohan Jagtap brings a unique and extensive dental background to his work, with experience spanning diagnosis, research, and specialty care. His path in dentistry has shaped the endodontic expertise he brings to the North Texas community.
Dr. Rohan completed his Endodontics residency and an Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology residency at the University of Florida College of Dentistry. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry and completed a Master of Healthcare Administration degree from Midwestern State University. Dr. Rohan received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from MGV’s KBH Dental College & Hospital in Nashik, India.
Dr. Rohan has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and has presented his research at respected scientific forums. His expertise has led to invitations as a guest speaker at conferences worldwide, including serving as chairperson and distinguished speaker at the Metal-Ions 2023 and 2024 conferences.
Dr. Rohan is a recognized leader in oral and maxillofacial radiology. He has served as Chair of the American Dental Education Association Radiology Section, currently serves as President of the International Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research, and is a board member of the Test Construction Committee for the Integrated National Board Dental Examination.
Dr. Rohan is a world-renowned clinician and researcher in the field of artificial intelligence. He played a leading role in the sections of AI in oral medicine/pathology, endodontics, and radiology for the ADA’s Dental Informatics, White paper NO.1106. Additionally, he was an editor for the book “Artificial Intelligence in Dentistry” published by Springer. It is the most comprehensive dental AI resource available worldwide.
Dr. Rohan also worked with the U.S. Department of Defense to provide critical dental care to U.S. service members. For his extraordinary work and international recognition, he has received honorary fellowships from renowned organizations such as the Pierre Fauchard Academy, Academy of Dentistry International, and American College of Dentists.
Dr. Rohan enjoys spending time with his wife and kids. Outside of dentistry, his favorite hobbies include playing chess and tennis.
