Meet Our Doctors:

Dr. Yumna Piracha was born and raised in New York. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 2018. During her years at Columbia, she received several awards, including Dean’s Scholar, a distinction presented to the top 5% of her class. She then completed her advanced training in Endodontics at Columbia University’s Postdoctoral Endodontics Program in 2020. There, she was trained by reputable clinicians and researchers and was involved in both teaching and research.

 

Dr. Piracha is a board-eligible endodontist and a proud member of the American Association of Endodontists. She has presented at national meetings and conferences and is passionate about understanding and applying new research and modern advances in her practice. Her novel research on horizontal posts was published in the Journal of Endodontics. Professionally, she strives to deliver high-quality care to patients with compassion and care, and wants to bust the myth that ‘root canals hurt.’

Dr. Piracha is happily married with two young children. In her leisure time, she enjoys reading, traveling, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
